Hello I'm Freek de With.
I am a Freelance mechanical engineer from Heerenveen, The Netherlands, with over 24 years of experience. My road to engineering began in 1990 when I earned a position with DMT in Joure as an environmental technologies engineer. There I learned the inner workings of the engineering process. After six years with the company, I decided to branch out on my own and started freelancing as a mechanical engineer. Most of my recent work has come from the water technology industry. Specifically, my engineering work has focused primarily on waste water treatment systems and drinking water production plants. Additionally, I also work with international operating companies to produce custom made equipment skids for very high quality demanding companies like Shell, BASF and BP.
